Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) is a unique Institution established in October 1981 by "The Institution of Engineers (India)", the largest body of professional engineers in India.
The primary objective of ESCI is to impart professional and need-based continuing professional development and training in frontier areas of Engineering, Scientific and Management fields, simultaneously providing professional consultancy and technical services to the industry. ESCI's operations are firmly grounded in its desire to act as a bridge between academic institutions, R&D laboratories and organizations in the government, manufacturing & industry sectors to promote the growth and increased availability of latest know-how and expertise to professional engineers and managers in all these sectors. ESCI, as a unique centre for promotion of excellence in engineering, science and management, has been successfully fulfilling this role in today's fast changing technological world around us.
ESCI has completed more than three decades of glorious service to the nation in imparting continuing professional development training for the engineers, scientists and managers in engineering profession in various disciplines like Climate Change, Civil & Transportation, Environment Management, Information Technology, Management & Technology, Power & Energy, Quality & Productivity and Water Resources, besides providing consultancy services to the industry and government agencies.
ESCI's core faculty in all the engineering, management and science disciplines comprises of senior engineers, eminent scientists and teachers who have rich experience in the respective fields and collectively represent several decades of professional expertise. With vast experience in their areas of specialization both in industry and government, they are involved in carefully planning and conducting all activities of ESCI. In addition, ESCI derives faculty services (Visiting and Adjunct Faculty) from a large number of National and International Organizations of high repute. Faculties are also drawn from Industry, Consulting Firms, Government Organizations, Academic and Research Institutions.
